Natural Wart Treatments

Warts are unsightly and you will want to remove them as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

They are caused by one or other of the many strains of human papilloma virus. The viruses are highly contagious and can enter where your skin is broken, fragile or excesively moist. Types of warts that occur on the skin include the common wart that is raised with a rough surface and erupts most commonly on the fingers; a plane or flat wart is usually small, slightly elevated, smooth, tan or flesh coloured and can break out in large numbers on the face, neck, backs of hands. wrists and knees, especially in children.

Treatment

Your own immune system will have a big role to play in as your body works to throw of the warts and there are many things we can do to optimise your immune function. These may include including designing a healthy diet (low in sugar!), detoxing, stress management and the use of immune boosting herbs. Anti-viral herbs, especially Thuja, will be central to your treatment which is usually successful within one to three months. Homeopathic remedies will also be used as part of the treatment and to reduce the possibilty that the warts may recur.
